This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") works alongside our Terms of Service and governs how you may use the VixPro AI platform, including our dashboard, Go Agents, tool execution capabilities, and related services. By using VixPro AI, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Introduction

VixPro AI is an AI-powered IT infrastructure operations platform that deploys Go Agents on your servers, executes diagnostic and remediation tools, and provides intelligent alert triage and incident response. Because VixPro AI operates directly on customer infrastructure, responsible use is essential to maintaining the security, stability, and trust of the platform for all users.

This Acceptable Use Policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail. All capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings assigned in the Terms of Service.

Authorized Activities

  • Infrastructure monitoringUsing VixPro AI to monitor server health, resource utilization, service availability, and system performance across your registered infrastructure.
  • Alert responseReceiving, triaging, and responding to alerts from integrated monitoring tools such as Datadog, PagerDuty, Prometheus, and custom webhooks.
  • Incident managementUsing AI-powered triage and diagnostics to investigate, correlate, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
  • Change managementPlanning, executing, and tracking infrastructure changes through VixPro AI's change management workflows with appropriate approval gates.
  • Approved tool executionRunning registered diagnostic and remediation tools on your servers through the Go Agent, within the permission boundaries defined by your organization.
  • Operational reportingGenerating daily summaries, incident reports, cost analyses, and operational dashboards for your infrastructure.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited when using VixPro AI. Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Warning: Violations of this section may result in immediate account suspension without prior notice, particularly where the violation poses a security risk to other users or their infrastructure.

Prohibited Activities

  • Unauthorized system accessAccessing, attempting to access, or executing tools on systems, servers, or infrastructure that are not registered to your organization within VixPro AI.
  • Bypassing approval workflowsCircumventing, disabling, or attempting to bypass tool approval workflows, risk level controls, or any safety mechanisms built into the platform.
  • Malicious infrastructure activityUsing VixPro AI to attack, probe, scan, penetrate, or compromise any infrastructure, whether your own or belonging to third parties, in a manner not consistent with authorized IT operations.
  • Credential sharingSharing your VixPro AI account credentials, API keys, access tokens, or Go Agent authentication secrets with unauthorized individuals or third-party services.
  • Multi-tenant isolation violationsAttempting to access, view, modify, or interfere with data, configurations, servers, or operations belonging to other organizations on the platform.
  • Non-operational tool useRunning tools, executing commands, or using the Go Agent for purposes outside the scope of legitimate IT infrastructure operations, including personal projects or unauthorized activities.
  • Storing secrets in tool parametersEmbedding passwords, private keys, API secrets, database credentials, or other sensitive information directly in tool parameters, custom tool definitions, or runbook configurations.
  • Resource abuseUsing VixPro AI or the Go Agent for cryptocurrency mining, distributed computing tasks, hosting services, or any other activity that consumes computational resources beyond the scope of IT operations management.

5. Tool Execution Guidelines

VixPro AI executes tools on your infrastructure through the Go Agent. Tools are classified into risk levels (read_only, low, medium, high) that determine approval requirements. You agree to the following guidelines when using tool execution features:

  • Respect risk levelsUnderstand the risk classification of each tool and ensure that higher-risk operations receive appropriate human review before execution.
  • Use approval workflowsWhen a tool requires approval (via Slack, dashboard, or other configured channels), allow the workflow to complete. Do not attempt to execute restricted tools through alternative means.
  • Do not bypass safety controlsVixPro AI includes built-in safety mechanisms such as tool permission categories, automatic/requires_approval modes, and risk-level gates. These controls exist to protect your infrastructure and must not be circumvented.
  • Test in staging firstWhen configuring new tools, custom tool definitions, or runbooks, we strongly recommend testing in a non-production environment before deploying to production servers.

Best Practice

Configure your organization's tool permissions to match your internal change management policies. Use read_only and low risk tools for automated diagnostics, and route medium and high risk tools through approval workflows for human sign-off.

6. Data Handling

VixPro AI processes infrastructure data, tool execution results, and operational metadata on your behalf. You agree to the following data handling requirements:

  • No data exfiltrationDo not use VixPro AI tools, the Go Agent, or any platform feature to exfiltrate customer data, proprietary information, or sensitive system data from your infrastructure to unauthorized destinations.
  • No PII in tool parametersDo not include personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), or other regulated data in tool parameters, runbook definitions, or custom tool configurations.
  • Respect data retention policiesAdhere to both VixPro AI's data retention policies and your own organization's data governance requirements. Do not use the platform to circumvent data retention or deletion obligations.

Tool execution results, including command output, are stored as part of your organization's activity logs. Ensure that tools are not configured to output sensitive data (passwords, tokens, private keys) that would be persisted in these logs.

7. Security Requirements

Given that VixPro AI operates directly on your infrastructure, maintaining strong security practices is a shared responsibility. You agree to the following:

  • Multi-factor authenticationEnable and use multi-factor authentication (MFA) where required by your organization or recommended by the platform. MFA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access.
  • Strong passwordsUse strong, unique passwords for your VixPro AI account. Do not reuse passwords from other services.
  • Prompt incident reportingReport any suspected security incidents, unauthorized access, data breaches, or vulnerabilities to security@vixpro.ai immediately upon discovery. Timely reporting helps us protect all platform users.
  • Do not share access tokensGo Agent authentication tokens, API keys, and session tokens are organization-specific and must not be shared with individuals outside your organization, posted publicly, or stored in unsecured locations such as public repositories.

1

Warning

For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a written warning to the account owner describing the violation and required corrective action.

4

Termination
