Autonomous Remediation

What happens if the Go Agent loses connection to VixPro AI?

VixPro AI actively monitors agent connectivity and responds automatically when a connection is lost.

Detection:

  • The agent sends heartbeats every 30 seconds over its WebSocket connection
  • If an agent goes offline, VixPro AI applies a grace period (default: 15 minutes) to account for brief network blips, container restarts, or the agent's own reconnection backoff
  • After the grace period, VixPro AI creates an incident and sends an in-app notification

Automatic recovery:

  • When the agent reconnects, the disconnect incident is auto-resolved and you receive a reconnection notification
  • If the outage exceeded the L1 threshold (default: 30 minutes), VixPro AI automatically triggers an L1 health check on that server — a catch-up diagnostic to surface anything that went wrong while the agent was dark

Configurable per server and per organization:

  • Grace period and L1 health check threshold can be set at the organization level in Organization Settings, with per-server overrides in the server detail panel
  • A production database server can have a 5-minute grace period while a dev staging box uses the default 15 minutes

One incident per disconnect event — no spam, no repeated alerts for the same outage.
